Wie lässt sich erzählen von einer Welt im Wandel, wie überhaupt auf sie reagieren, wenn der Wandel so grundlegend ist und auf so vielen Ebenen gleichzeitig stattfindet, dass Orientierung kaum möglich scheint? Die Grundlagen des (Zusammen-)Lebens verändern sich gerade spürbar und fundamental: ökologisch durch die Klimakrise, die unsere Lebensbedingungen auf den Kopf stellt; politisch durch die gewaltsame Neuordnung der Beziehungen zwischen Staaten und Machtblöcken infolge des russischen Angriffskrieges; und kulturell durch das Zeitalter der digitalen Kommunikation und der Simulation intelligenten Verhaltens durch KI. All dies sind keine vorübergehenden Krisen, sondern bleibende Veränderungen – Epochenbrüche, die ineinandergreifend durch ihre Komplexität überfordern.
